This photo was taken about 3 years ago, when I went here for my then boyfriend's birthday. I was loking at the Sydney city while waiting for the boat that would take me back from Taronga Zoo.

It's somehow related to my situation right now. Im about to dive in to the real life in this country as my spouse visa has been approved a week ago. Im about to start uploading my portfolio to the net, sending out applications, and (hopefully) going for (again, hopefully) some interviews.

Im scared... As I heard some stories of those who have the experience. They say that Indonesia's qualification is not considered as qualified.

Im scared... As I also heard that even the Singapore experiences is not considered, because it's (sorry to say) Asia.

Im scared... Because last night someone told me a story about his niece, who has exactly the same situation as mine: graduated from the same uni & worked in Singapore as a designer as well. She sent out hundreds applications and none was successful. In the end, she joint a company with a very low salary, about half from her salary in Singapore.

Im scared... because that wasn't the first story that I've heard. The other even takes another degree in a local uni, just to fit into the market.

    Ayo semangat!! Semoga lancar cari kerjanya... gw juga lagi berjuang lagi nih untuk cari kerjaan. Udah lamar2 sana sini masih belum dapet juga.. Udah 1 tahun padahal. Untungnya masih ada sekolah bahasa yang bikin ga bosen2 banget..

    Iya, tapi kayaknya sih karena gue belum lulus sekolah bahasa juga..Jadi tambah sulit deh cari kerjaan. Tapi kayak kata Adelheid.. "rencana Tuhan buat tiap orang ngga sama" yang penting ga patah semangat.. ya ga?? ^^
