World Calendar

Do you know that there is a thing called 'World Calendar'?? It's different from our daily calendar. Our daily calender is called as 'Gregorian Calendar'.

The world calendar is a 12mths calendar, with equal quarters. It remains the same every year. Each quarter begins on Sunday, ends on Saturday. The quarters are equal, has exactly 91 days, 13 weeks or 3 months. The 3 mths have 31, 30 and 30 days respectively. Each quarter begins with the 31-day mths of January, April, July or October. To maintain the same new year as the Gregorian calendar, the world calendar also has the following 2 additional days.

The 1st one is 'Worlds day'. The last day after the year following 30 Dec. This day will be called as 'W', which nowadays we know it as 'the 31st December'. It is followed by Sunday, 1st January the following year.

The 2nd one would be 'Leap year day'. It's similar to 'Worlds day', but added on the end of the 2nd quarter in leap years. It is followed by Sunday, 1st July within the same year.

The good thing about using this type of calendar is, we can print out less calendars, because the only thing change every year is the year number itself. And the other thing is, work and school schedules do not need to unnecessarily re-invent themselves, at great expense year of the year. This can be memorized easily by anyone.

The big wow thing about this 'world calendar', there's an organization that manage and keep on fighting on it. So in the end the whole world will use this kind of calendar.

So, which one do you prefer?? For myself... I prefer to use the same calendar as we have now. Because.... I am already really use to it. And it's so boring to have the same day for every single date every year.
